IPABRA Show Records Database

The software includes the Horse Details Database. Current points totals can also be entered when a new horse is added to the database so you don't have to enter all their show records before you start adding the new ones. The MHU Show Records Database includes:

  • Date
  • Show name
  • Judge's name
  • Number of entries
  • Class name
  • Places down to 15th plus championships
  • Horse name
  • Show type eg IPABRA, IMEHA, TOPSA, other
  • Points, lifetime totals and annual points
  • Comment field which can be used to record extra information eg show qualifications, etc

Each horse has a separate show records file, which can be displayed in the main window and sorted in any order. When the show records are displayed in the main window they can be corrected or altered if you need to make any changes to them. There is also a 'Recalculate' button to reset the points totals and grades if you need to redo them. The changes are saved using the 'Save Database' button which saves whichever database is open in the window at the time. Basic printing is included. The database can also be copied and pasted into Microsoft Word, etc for more elaborate printing.

To enter show records click on the ‘Add Show Records’ button. This opens a new window with a form for you to enter new results. Once you have entered the show name, date, etc the form remembers them so you don’t have to keep re-typing them. This saves a lot of time. Then add the class details and select the horse's name from the drop down list to add the records to it's individual show record file. If you click the list and type the first few letters of the horse's name the list will jump to the nearest matching name. This is very useful if you have a lot of horses. When you click ‘Add to database’ the data is added to the show record for the horse. The software now adds up the new points totals and displays them in the lower part of the window. This version includes TOPSA and IMEHA points as well which are free if you buy the IPABRA database.

An extra feature in this software is a summary window which displays the points totals for the grades. It can be sorted into ascending or descending order for any grade or total column. This is very useful for the MHU Top Ten awards as the top ten can be found very easily.

The software runs on any PC running Microsoft XP, Vista or Windows 7.

The price for the Horse Details Database with IPABRA Show Records Database is £30. Other databases can be added eg Photo, Breeding Records, Pedigree Databases, etc. P&P is free to the UK.

Other Club Points Schemes

The MHU points are also available, as are the TOPSA and IMEHA points schemes. Race winnings can also be added. These can be bought in any combination. Just let me know what you want. If you would like a different club's points scheme to be added to the Show Records Software please contact me.
